Interview!

A new interview is on online. The website responsible is www.4thletter.net and the interviewer is Esther Inglis-Arkell. This was conducted at WonderCon in a somewhat hectic environment. I'm impressed that the details of the discussion managed to get through the chaos of the event.

Here's an excerpt:

Conclusion: funny, sly, and cute as a button. Since then I’ve been reading the book and it has managed to keep all those descriptors accurate, despite having to pull off several difficult balancing acts.

New interviews..

Eric and I were recently interviewed by the East Bay Express. The end result has a bit more emphasis on the economic realties of freelance work than I would have preferred, but at the same time, the impact of the economy is what is on peoples minds these days.

Oh yeah, and I'm about to go do a live webcast interview in San Jose. I'm on at 3:30. Check it out if you can. I'm bound to stutter and stammer and make a massive fool of myself.

Video interview

Eric and I were recently interviewed by LITnIMAGE contributer Kimy Martinez. The resultant video is available now.

Apparently, I am giving a demonstration on playing drums on Rock Band. This seems to amuse Eric.

An excerpt for those short on time can be found on the LITnIMAGE Facebook page here.

Interview with Dynamic Forces...

A new interview is up. This time with Brian Hofacker over at Dynamic Forces.

In this interview I discuss why I think gender is secondary when writing relatable characters, how Little Gloomy exceeded our expectations and... I dunno. Some other stuff.

Interview with Project Fanboy...

I just did an interview with Project Fanboy. Mainly discussing Supergirl. Be warned, there is a overly giant picture of me posted with the interview.

In theory, an interview with Eric will be coming soon. Watch for it!

Supergirl related interview.

I just did a Supergirl related interview with Jennifer M. Contino of the Pulse. I babbled alot. It's what I do. Just remember to never take anything I say seriously. Except for that last part just now about never taking anything I say seriously. That part was serious.

Okay, I lied. The entire interview is deadly serious. You know its a serious interview because I invoke the name of Rikki Simons. You only get to do that three times (cumulative) on your blog before he appears and works his sinister sorcerer-like ways.

ComicCon Live Jounal update 2.0

Apparently, Eric and I will be interviewed on some kind of television show at some time in the morning in the city of San Diego or somewhere else. We will talk about something.

So I guess I should be sleeping. Must return to convention at 5:30 AM.

Today I bought Doctor Who toys. Talked to friends. Glared at enemies. Received hugs.

Documentary...

Independents, the documentary that both Eric and I were interviewed for is listed in the Diamond Distributer catalog. Supposedly page 548. According to sources relevant to only me, the DVD price is misprinted. It's 14.99 instead of 19.99.

But if you actually want to see me insult family members and pretend I know things, you can order the DVD direct off of the following website:

The Computer World!

Here's another interview. This time at Paperbackreader.com

At this point it should be clear that we just like to talk about ourselves.

It's a hell of a town.

New York was fun. I sold out of a few things and only had a couple of people act like they were going to punch me. I bought a jacket because I forgot mine. Actually, Dan made it possible for me to buy a jacket. I lost badly at Mario Kart (many times). Those that vanquished me shall not be named lest my humility grow deeper. Let it just be known that if the racing were on a console, I would have ruled with an iron shell.

There was a snowball fight. Actually, it was just me throwing a snowball at Dustin over and over. He seemed to enjoy it though. I also got to hang out with the most adorable 2 year old I have ever met. She like Pikachu like crazy.

By the way, if anyone knows anything about the box of stale green cupcakes, let me know if I should regret eating one when the show was over.

A recent interview with Wizard Universe can be found here.

I want to thank Kiel Phegley for editing out all the parts where I rambled pointlessly. I was having a bad day and my mind wasn't where it should have been.
