Anyone know where to get one of these pencils?
Included in this post is a picture of Eric holding a pencil. Every comic Eric has drawn over the past 16+ years was drawn with this pencil. This pencil has traveled to France and England. It was used to doodle various things in the kitchen belonging to Nightmare Before Christmas director Henry Selick. It was used to draw an image that was incorporated into a flyer for one of the very first Green Day shows, and it was later used to sketch possible album covers in an LA studio while Green Day recorded American Idiot. It is now broken and Eric is seeking a replacement.
Ideally, said replacement would be an exact duplicate of this pencil. This pencil was originally printed with black red and orange markings, and has a manufacturer mark by a company called Monami in Korea. So far, Eric has failed in tracking down an identical pencil. Though to be fair, he only just began looking and he is very lazy.
So any suggestions are welcome.
